    I love this plugin so much. I was wondering about any methods to speed it up, pre-load portions or something. I have an especially large timeline and it is taking a couple seconds to render on the page when the user first loads it. My caching plugin doesn’t appear to be effecting it much either. Any ideas or suggestions would be really appreciated!

    Hi isensmith,

    There is no simple method at the moment. I am currently re-writing this plugin, and have implemented a number of fixes from the previous version.

    I have plans to incorporate a transient, to cache the queries and prevent long load times. As a user saves an announcement, the transient would be flushed – and re-built on page reload. I am not 100% sure when the new version will be out for public release, but it is currently available on Github, in a separate branch:

    I still have to implement the transients into that version, but is something I plan on doing later this afternoon – when I get done with work.
