Speed of sending mail

  • Hello!

    I’m using PostmanSMTP in combination with Contactform7 and Gmail and it works great, BUT…when my contact-form has been filled in and the “send” button is clicked, it takes several seconds for the “send succesfully” message to appear, causing people to think it hasn’t worked and click again.

    Before I started using Gmail/PostmanSMTP, the sending of filled-in forms was instantaneous.

    I understand this partially, as now the filled-in form goes through the Gmail servers instead of from my website itself, but is there anything I can do to make it send the message quicker?
