speed of slide changing

Is there anyway to slow down the change rate of the slides when using v-slider. Right now the images change faster than someone can read the text that goes with the images. I also want to add more images to the slider. Right now I can only seem to add 2 images. What file do I edit and what is the line I need to edit to do these two things to improve the website I am currently working on.
