Speed Up Search

  • I am using both categories and tags in search. Because of the variations in types of products, it is nice to include the tags without making a extensive amount of categories.

    Is there anyway to speed up the search? It is fairly slow and I am worried that if we add more products, it will be even slower.

  • I was just going to post about this so I am just going to follow thread. This is an incredibly slow search plugin – is there anyway to make it faster or is that how it is?

    If you search around, several people have reported the issue. The developer doesn’t really seem to care. He hardly replies at all.
