Speeding up my website’s load time

The upload time for my website is fairly slow, and I want to figure out how I can make it faster. (Ideally, much faster.) I’m trying to contact tinyPNG to compress my pictures, (for some reason they’re giving me an error message) but my website was somewhat slow even before I started using images. Any help you can give would be appriciated.
P.s The URL is to my website. It isn’t any specific page that’s loading slowly.
