• Hello,

I have just installed the W3 Total Cache. After installed, I went to Pingdom to check my score immediately. My score went up from 85/100 to 100/100. Then, I went to Google page speed insights to check my speed. My desktop score went up from 50/100 to 95/100, but my mobile score dropped from 62/100 to 38/100. Why the mobile score is low? Did I miss some steps in settings?

After an hour, I went to Google and Pingdom to check the speed again. To my surprise, both of them went down like I didn’t install the W3 Total Cache Plugin.

Then I double checked my speed at https://www.webpagetest.org/ and GTmetrix, I got bad score in the first one but a good score (~100, page load time ~4.0s) in the latter one. That’s weird enough.
Can anyone kindly help me with this? My site is https://hong-kong-travelblog.com/

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hello Kyam,

I went to the site you mentionned and tested my site against it from various locations around the world: https://www.webpagetest.org/. I noticed they have a forums https://www.webpagetest.org/forums/. I found it interesting to be able to test my site from various areas of the world. I’m not sure I understood everything about the result I obtained there. I’ll have to read more of what they say in order to grasp what I saw.
