    When your plugin says this at the bottom:

    Current record SPF record for jtribble.com:
    v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all

    Recommend you add +ip4:127.0.0.1 to your SPF record

    Does that mean I am supposed to create a new TXT record with just “+ip4:127.0.0.1” or does it mean I add that to the existing record so it looks like this “v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all+ip4:127.0.0.1”

    As 127.0.0.1 is an internal IP address it isn’t going to help

    I recommend you use +a which will pick up the external IP address of your website

    I think I’ll change the recommendation in the plugin

    so yourSPF will look like

    v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com +a -all

    When set up, Google for SPF testing tool to check you got it right

    Wow! Fast response. I got a green light from the SPF check tool so I guess I am good to go. I have been looking for a solution to emails ending up in spam for YEARS so I hope this works!
    Many thanks

    There are unfortunately many reasons why emails end up in spam, this plugin only really deals with one specific one, but when that is the specific problem it solves it.
