Spinning Circle

I am trying to create a photography website, I have my domain name through hostgator with wordpress downloaded, purchased a theme from themeforest, tried to upload it and it is showing on my page but there is that spinning ‘loading” circle that won’t allow me to move forward. What the hell ?!?!
