    Hello – We’re running into an endlessly spinning wheel issue that’s started popping up recently (possible after an upgrade to 4.9.5).

    Clearing the cache occasionally fixes the issue for exactly one page view. After that, citations will fail to load.

    Our php log is returning this error each time it fails: PHP Warning: gzdecode(): data error in /home/account/public_html/wp-content/plugins/zotpress/lib/request/request.class.php on line 26

    Here’s the shortcode being used: [zotpress collections=”2RQKSFR5″ years=”2018″ download=”yes” cite=”yes” etal=”no” sortby=”author”]

    I’ve tried disabling all plugins, themes, etc, but we’re still running into this issue. I can see a full list of articles when I look at the browse page on the dashboard.

    Have you run into this before?

    Can you send me your library information? https://katieseaborn.com/contact This sounds like an issue with storage or retrieval in the new caching system. I’ve been developing so it may be fixed, but it would be great to check using this as a case.

    Resolved … I had two issues, one (thanks for Katie for pointing out) was relating with WP my security settings, and other that i’ve mixed up the account type (I defined account to be personal instead of Group account)

    Would it be possible to point me to the particular security setting that helped you out? I am having a similar issue on our lab website. I also noticed the eternal spinning wheel to appear only when in-text references are used solely. When I insert bibliography at the same time on the same page, the spinning wheel on the in-text references is gone.

    Running on the last version of WordPress.
    I think I did not mix Personal and Group accounts.
