    Hello,

I have a form on the front page of my website.
Once i submit the form the spinning wheel keeps spinning for ever.
I get the success message and all the data is stored in Advanced CF7 DB.
But the spinning wheel doesn’t stop spinning.

My Other issue is that I’ve intigrated recaptcha v-3, but in some parts of the world it doesnt work or doesnt appear.
And in those countries the form doesnt get submitted either.

  • Hello, I noticed the same problem on 2 of my websites today. On both of my websites I use Contact Form 7 plugin and since the latest update, after I press the send/confirm button the wheel keeps spinning and the customer doesn’t know if his message is sent. The messages even though the wheel is spinning non stop, they are sent normally.

SOLUTION: I deactivated the plugin ‘Autoptimize’ in both of my affected websites and now the form works perfectly like before. I suspect something with the cache is affecting the Contact Form 7. I hope my solution helps someone else out there. If you don’t have Autoptimize installed then maybe it’s another caching plugin that does the damage.

Before the final solution and finding what was the problem I deactivated every single plugin and it was only Autoptimize that interfered. Maybe with a next update from them it will be fixed without having the plugin deactivated.

The plugins that I use in the 2 affected websites are different from one another and with different themes installed. The only common things are these 2 plugins.

PS. Maybe if there was a way excluding the contact form 7 plugin from caching plugins would also be a solution. But I don’t know how to do this.

    The Spinner Keep’s Spinning yet.
So I added a popup on form submission that way the user knows that the form has been submitted.

the problem occurs as cache programs are enabled such as Autoptimize, Litespeed

The problem is solved when deactivating the option to unify the javascripst with Autoptimize.

Same issue, on all my websites using CF7

Same issue, I’ve tried to “hide” it via CSS…

The problem keeps the same. so i deactivated contact form 7 and installed wpform lite. With this plugin no isssues.

I Applied the Avada patch but also still having the same issue (Also after clearing cache). Does somebody already has found a solution?

    Yes. Change the form plugin.

For a quick fix you could also look at this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/awcf7-stop-spinning/

If Contact Form 7 is causing a conflict with your theme then this could be the ideal solution.
