I have the same issue. Not sure what happened.

Same issue here. It’s not a plugin conflict, I tried that method.

The spinning arrow is a common symptom of a JavaScript conflict with either your current WordPress theme or one of the other plugins you are using – see Contact Form 7 Email Issues – there is a link there that covers JavaScript Conflicts.

Step by step approach to finding JavaScript Conflicts

    1. Switch temporarily to a WordPress default theme (Twenty Eleven etc.) and see if the problem goes away.

If it does, you’ve most likely got a JavaScript conflict with your current WordPress theme.

If switching to default theme doesn’t help it could be one of the plugins you are using that is causing the problem.

    2. Disable all plugins other than Contact Form 7

If doing that solves the problem, you can then add back each item – one by one, until you find the real cause of the problem.

You will need to disable, temporarily, ALL JavaScript, other than that from CF7, including anything in your theme (switch temporarily to a default theme), if you want to get to the source of the problem.

I have tried buzztone’s step-by-step guide and unfortunately with both the 2015 theme activated and all plugins deactivated apart from Contact Form 7 I still get the issue.

I receive the email but no success or error message is shown after clicking the submit button???

    Hi All,

I just wanted to provide you with all an update with regards to the issues I have been having. See above post…

I have since tried to uninstall Contact Form 7 version 7.4.1.0 and role back to Contact Form 7.4.0.3 and this resolved the issue for me.

IMPORTANT: If you do this you will lose your form designs.

As far as I can see it is a bug in version 7.4.1.0

Hope this helps some of the others with issues here!

Sorry forget that… I have the same issue in version 7.4.0.3 as well…

Thanks everyone for your help with this issue, but after trying all suggested solutions the problem was not resolved. Due to time constraints I have just switched to a different contact form plugin.

If this resolves your question, it helps others contributing here, if you can flag your post as [resolved]
