    Hey guys.

No:1 I really really would like with this one. First off I’m not a WordPress geek so please be gentle.
I’ve already created a splash page and it works wonders. Only thing is, the homepage for the theme I have is set to Display Recent Posts and that’s like permanent so changing that action to display static page means I loose the home page completely.

I wanna know, can I make my splash page come first and then allow the Recent posts action as normal.

No:2 I made a gig animation for my splash page, when coding it I learnt how to centre it from left to right but is there a way to centre it completely dead centre. That is from left, right, top & bottom.

I would be extremely delighted for the solutions to these problems.

  • For issue #2 I wrote something about this last year. You can read more about centering a splash image there.

For issue #1 are you talking about having a splash page appear, and then after say a few seconds bring up a another page without the user clicking?

Cheers Kobashi for getting back. Issue 1: Basically the thing is i bought a theme and the way its designed, for me to activate the front page which has all sliders and stuff, i have to set my reading options to recent(latest) posts. Now the thing is i cant activate my splash page through the normal reading>static page because the static page now becomes the homepage, which defeats the purpose.

So im looking for a way to change the code to allow the them to read the splash page first without changing the reading options. Is this possible?
