Hi, I try you plugin who seem interesting to have a better user expériance, but on IOS 11.3, I test it, and the splash screen is a white screen but not use the configured PNG. Have you any idea why ?

And thereis a way to have a dialog to be clickable on the first load of the website, with a button you click, and do the “add to home screen” ?

thanks a lot for your work.
    Mike

  • Hello @mikecastrodemaria,

Good day! Thanks for using our plugin “Super Progressive Web Apps” and glad to know that you like it!

As first, I would like to let you know that iOS is not at all fully supporting PWA till this time. As iOS just started supporting PWA from 11.3, there are a lot of limitations and they are now only supporting the basic set of features. You can read more upon this article.

Hopefully we can expect iOS to resolve this issue on their coming updates. Can you please try the same upon Chrome for Android?

    Hello @mikecastrodemaria,

I’m closing this support thread as closed as the issue noticed is not related to our plugin and I hope iOS will come up with splash screen like other browsers on their future releases.
