• I want to have my page be split into two column and the theme offers the option, but I am lost. Where would I put the <–more–> code? In the HTML area or in the CSS Editor?

Weaver includes several page templates. Some have extra options here. * The 2 Col Content template splits content into two columns. you manually set the column split using the standard WP ‘<–more–>’ convention. Columns will split first horizontally, then vertically (you can have more than one <–more–> tag). *

More doesn’t split into columns. It’s to separate the ‘teaser’ from the main content for use in “Read More’

if you have a THEME that is … subverting that for something, you may need to take it to the theme creator.

in your editor click your mouse where you want the new column to start and add the code there I use <!–nextpage–> or Alt+Shift+P

    I think I didn’t make myself clear

I want to divide the page into two distinct areas like this

    asdfasdfasdfasdfd asdfasdfasdfadf
    asdfasdfasdfasdfa adfadfasdfadsfadf

So I would input the left side with text pictures etc… then
I would input the right side with a new Paragraph, Pics etc.

A lot of pages I see are divided and I can’t make it line up when I do it.

    you can use a plugin
    Page columnist
As i am using this plugin to add my content in columns
you can check my website i have used it in home, testimonials and services pages.

Or it SOUNDS like your theme (Weaver?) can do this. It should have documentation on how it works.

Thank you Govpatel… the learning curve for the plugin was a little steep, but eventually I was able to make everything line up. This was a very important step in my development!! Thank you very very much!
I actually got to build my own web-page for once, instead of a clients!! Featheryfinery.com…

    You are welcome
