Split Home Page

  • I am new to WP. I am following a “Get Started” video. I added my home page, then thought I was adding another page, but it turned out that I was adding “Posting” on the home page. How can I separate these without starting over? The site is PantherBuilder.org

  • yeah there is a difference between posts and pages

    pages are for static content that never changes like
    your contact page .. your about page

    posts are for your website’s content and they are sorted in categories.

    You can convert between posts and pages with a plugin
    but please don’t start making a ton of pages and think you are doing it right or you will be in for some fun later trying to clean it up…

    pages are few .. less than 20
    posts are put in categories and are many
