Currently I sell 2 products on my website. When someone buys them, the money goes into my bank or Pay Pal account. I was using Stripe but switched over to Woocommerce Payments.
One of the products is drop shipped from another vendor directly to the customer. I then have to transfer the amount of money from my account to the vendor.
I contacted Woocommerce Payments and it seems that they are not set up to do split payments. All I would to be able to do, and the vendor is onboard as well, is that if their product is purchased the money goes into their account whether it’s a bank account or Pay Pal.
It seems that maybe going back to Stripe for this would be the best solution. I have read about plugins and options to make this work.
This is what I think I need to do:
1) Return to using Stripe
2) Have vendor set up a Stripe and Business Pay Pal accounts.
I am just not sure of additional plugins needed of the settings and things like that.
Rarely, do I get disputes but I am also thinking that if one of my vendors products is disputed by the customer it is between them and not me. Eventually, I would just like to be an online selling platform where vendors pay me commission to sell their items.
If anyone has had a similar experience with positive results please let me know of a possible solution.
Thanks,
Eric
