Spoiler doesn't open when using new theme

I’m developing a new theme so my site is responsive.
It is essentially the same site, just recreated with a responsive structure in place. It is also a parent-child structure now.
The only problem is that the spoiler content accordions no longer work. When clicked, they won’t open.
It works with the original theme.I had some issues with another accordion plugin, but that was down to the styling.
