I have the SU version 4.9.9 running on WP 4.5.3 using the Agency Pro genesis child theme, on WPEngine. On one of my sites, I am using SU spoilers in two locations: (1) a FAQs page, and (2) a page with data presented in tables using the TablePress plugin, version 1.7.

Here’s the problem: for the text on the page with the text in the TablePress column, 2/3 of the cells contain text presented as SU spoilers, and on that page, the spoilers only work properly for a relatively short while after I log into the WP backend and clear the cache, and then after that the text in the spoilers in the table only renders with the spoiler title, no + plus sign, and none of the rest of the text.

However, on the FAQs page text with the SU spoilers, the spoilers work perfectly, and never stop working perfectly.

So, it seems very likely that there’s some sort of conflict between SU spoilers and TablePress tables.

    Is this a known problem?

What can I do to solve this without having to give up on using SU spoilers or TablePress?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This could be related to the TablePress output caching. To turn that off on this table, please extend the Shortcode on that page like

    [table id=123 cache_table_output=false /]

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thanks Tobias, I had exactly the same issue with a spoiler inside a TablePress cell. The fix worked for me too.

    Best wishes,

    Iain.
