Sporadic “session expired” warning

    Hi

    I hope you can help. I am getting sporadic “session expired” warnings and customers baskets emptying on my store. This is something I haven’t been able to replicate reliably enough to do any sort of plugin conflict test as it doesn’t always happen.

    I have checkout and basket set to not cache in my caching plugin as I have read that this may be the cause but would you be able to help me figure out what is causing the issue?

    Hi Igor

    Have put the logs for the last few days below. As stated above ” I have checked to see if there is a fatal error log for one of the days a customer reported having problems with “session expiring” but there is no error log for those days. ” but I understand they will probably still be helpful to someone who has more idea what they are doing than me!

    Thanks for sharing the error logs – as you have already figured out they relate to the Woocommerce Stripe Gateway and Woocommerce PayPal Payments.

    You can post support requests in the respective channels and share these error logs.

    PayPal Payments is supported by its developer directly. You can create a ticket and they’ll be able to help you further.     There is a probability but it cannot be said for sure, and it is difficult to verify as well, because the happening is occasional. Moreover, these errors were generated not on the same days as the customers encountered the trouble, so it doesn’t add up.

    However, checking with the plugin support may be worthwhile because nothing unusual apart from these could be found in the System Status!

    Hope you find a way forward with this soon.

    Ok, will contact them. With regards to this error is this something you have come across before? Is there anything else that can be checked with Woocommerce to fix the issue?
