• I’ve been having trouble with WordPress on my webhost for sometime. Whenever I’m in the admin interface, I find clicking links to other sections results in either a blank page or a partially loaded one. Refreshing usually loads the page in its entirety (sometimes I have to refresh multiple times).

I’m trying to figure out if this is my webhost or my WP installation. I’m guessing webhost as the problem occurs regardless of WP version or installation. It also occurs on the website itself.

I cannot see anything in /var/log/messages to indicate a problem. Not sure where else I can look though. Help?

Note: This is not just after upgrading

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?
