• Hello, we use Sport press plugin for our cricket club. We have added a custom / calculated field under statistics to calculate batting average.

This calculates batting average for each season. However, Total / Career Total section of statistics across multiple seasons, the batting average column is summing up. It should take a average across the season.

    Thanks.
For the context of the problem….

This year we have started adding players match data in each matches. This shows up on players statistics. That is working correctly. we have custom column for batting avg and bowling avg. Its working correctly for data which is entered per match.
For the past seasons (more than 10 seasons) where individual matches and players performace data are not recorded, I am trying to figure out how to record that, so it shows up under players career statistics.
Thats where things are going wrong.

here is link to “player” page where I entered pre-2024 data manually for a player. which does calculate batting average across multiple season correctly

Also we need to show the statistics of all players in a list / table format on a separate page. I created players’s list and used adjustments tab to enter pre-season data manually. there also average is not calculating correctly.

the columns are : matches, innings, runs scored, batting avg
Batting avg = runs scored / (innings – Not Outs)

Here is how it shows on the main tab when I add adjustment values, the avg in the last column is incorrect

If there is differnt way to record statistics from previous season without recording hundreds of individual matches, I would appreciate your help
