• I created a spot and it has a permalink to its own page. As a spot is intended to be added to a widget this should not be present, or an option to remove it. How can I do this please?

How do I also remove other features of the spot like Featured Image? Thats also unnecessary if I am just adding content to a widget.

    Thanks

  • Hi there,

The plugin itself doesn’t add any links back to its own page as well as featured image.
Could you please provide your website URL so I can investigate?

    Thanks,

Hi Evgenii. I have stopped using it now because if this issue, so cant provide a URL.

When you create a “spot” post, it show the permalink/URL to that page in the entry, just like a normal post or page. When you click it, the spot entry is visible on its own standalone page. You just need to disable this in the plugin. The public setting needs to be true, and publicly_queriable = false – I think.

There is nothing to worry about that, we will probably schedule this issue for next releases. In the meantime if you are really worry about that you could mark it as no-index in SEO settings. The end user won’t see this pages as the plugin is used via widgets and shortcodes.
