Hello, and thank you for taking your time to develop such a plugin!

However, I can’t seem to make it work. Nothing shows on the WordPress site when using the shortcode like this:
    [gdoc key="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18Y4X9ynibfweEmndWbykeT9SZ038475898rFxjzWPvw/edit"]

This is what is generated in WordPress:

    <table id="igsv-18Y4X9ynibfweEmndWbykeT9SZ038475898rFxjzWPvw" class="igsv-table" summary="Google Spreadsheet"><thead>
    </thead><tbody></tbody></table>

I would really appreciate if you looked into this, and gave me a hint if I’m doing something wrong.
(The spreadsheet is of course published public, and I’m using version 0.4.5. of your plugin.)

  • Have you created the spreadsheet using a “new” Google Docs spreadsheet? If so it might be that. Try using the link at the bottom of this blurb to create the spreadsheet: https://support.google.com/drive/answer/3541068?p=help_new_sheets&rd=1

erolha, two things were happening here. First, there was a bug in version 0.4.5 that prevented the plugin from finding the correct URL given a key without a gid attribute on “new” Google Spreadsheets (like yours). Second, Google changed its gid parameter handling and as a result broke some other “new” Google Spreadsheets. I just released version 0.4.6 of the plugin which should resolve both those issues. Please let me know if your spreadsheet continues to have trouble being displayed properly after updating to version 0.4.6.

Thanks for alerting me to this issue.

Thank you, it works perfect with 0.4.6! ??
