    Hello gebruiker1 (@gebruiker1),

We performed scans with McAfee and other Antivirus apps but could not trigger any warning. We used McAfee Total Protection.

We are doing it on multiple systems now. Can definitely use your help here, if you can share the OS, McAfee software name and version you were using when you saw the warning.

Will update you if anything comes up.

    Hello gebruiker1 (@gebruiker1),

Despite multiple tests we are unable to produce any warnings. We’re still waiting for you to provide any related information. Without that, we can only classify it as false alarm. Additionally, no other user has ever reported any similar issue so far.

Also, I would like to know the username you used to sign up for extensions to investigate it as a more case specific issue.

Because of my concerns I asked by mail to undo my account. I’m afraid it already happened and will I not be able to reach my cart. Otherwise I could try to download my products again and show you a printscreen of the warning.

    With kind regards,

    Hello Dineke (@gebruiker1),

Thank you for working with us through our helpdesk to diagnose this issue. I already updated you on your ticket that the problem has been resolved. But since this is a public forum, and for benefit of community members seeing this, I think it is important that we provide a proper update to this thread. More so because mere mention of spyware or malware is enough to attract attention.

As we had initially assured, the extension files themselves are totally safe. It was a false alarm due to a DNS setting. It was reported to McAfee and they have removed the warning. You should be able to download and update the files without any problems now. If you have any questions feel free to post them here or on your ticket.

I also have a request from ProfileGrid team – since the issue didn’t turned out to be what it initially appeared, and has been duly resolved – please consider modifying your review. ProfileGrid is a being actively developed by small team of passionate people. We take every feedback seriously, and this really bought down the morale. While we try our best to make every ProfileGrid user happy, few things are time bound due to external dependencies. Still, if you feel we missed anything, do write back to us. As I said, we want to do all we can to make you feel happy.

Thanks again for working with us to get this resolved.
