• Dear,

    When accessing in BuddyPress the My Groups/Events subtab, it says no event, which is correct, but add as well the following error:

    WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual for your MariaDB server version for the correct syntax to use near &#039 ;) ) AND (event_private=0 OR (event_private=1 AND (group_id IS NULL OR ...&#039 ; at line 3]<br>SELECT DISTINCT 99_em_events.post_id FROM 99_em_events LEFT JOIN 99_em_locations ON 99_em_locations.location_id=99_em_events.location_id WHERE (event_status=1) AND (recurrence!=1 ORrecurrenceIS NULL) AND ( event_start >= '2023-01-07 22:39:56&#039 ; OR (event_end >= '2023-01-07 22:39:56&#039 ;)) AND (group_idIN () ) AND (event_private=0 OR (event_private=1 AND (group_idIS NULL ORgroup_id` = 0))) ORDER BY event_start_date ASC, event_start_time ASC, event_name ASC

    This is ONLY happening if the BuddyPress user is NOT YET register to any group.

    So participating to 0 group gives this error.

    Participating to at least 1 group… no error appear in that subtab.

    Any idea why is this appearing?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jean-Frederic

    Just to confirm, do your events have special characters on the event name or description? I did an initial check on this and it seems to be working fine on our test site.

    In fact the buddypress user is NOT register to any group… so there is no event to display. When the user is register to at least one group, then it is OK
