SQL query error

    After the last update (of plugin or WP) I got below error which stops any backup (file path shortened):

    mysql_query(): Unable to save result set, /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/classes/class-backup.php, 1587, mysql_fetch_row() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given, /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/classes/class-backup.php, 1629, mysql_free_result() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given, /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/classes/class-backup.php, 1669

    What can be a reason and solution for this?
