SQLreport causing site to crash

    History: I migrated site from one dedicate server to another with the same hosting company. Since then I have been having errors with the site. I thought the problem was with the iThemes security plugin…since once I would log in I would get a 500 server error. I started troubleshooting by disabling all the plugins then adding them back one by one until I could reproduce the error. Once I enable the EZ SQL Reports Shortcode Widget and DB Backup the site would go down.

    I’ve several pages utilizing the SQL plugin and would rather fix this instead of finding another plugin.

    I would like to try removing the plugin and then add it back. I’m concern about losing the reports once I remove the plugin. I checked but don’t see and information on saving the reports, I would like some info on the best course of action.

    I went to the site homepage and downloaded the current version and uploaded to the site. I was asked if I wanted to replaced the current plugin…YES. and it worked out great.

    Looks like the site is working now and your last post suggest that you found a solution, am I right?

    It sounds like you manually upgraded to the latest version of my plugin and that fixed the error you were getting, which I can only assume was coming from a compatibility issue with the newer version of PHP on your new server. I can confirm that you would need to have the latest release of my plugin to be compatible with newer versions of PHP, can you please confirm that is what the issue was?

    To answer your question about loosing your reports: If you had deactivate or deleted my plugin then you could upgrade or install the latest version from the WordPress Plugin Repository in the normal way through your wp-admin and you would not have lost any reports that you had.
