Square Galleries displaying incorrectly

Hi!
I have a beta site set up at https://www.jamieboepple.com/marythewanderer, and the live, final site at https://www.marythewanderer.com
The theme, files, settings, etc. are all the same, but for some reason the square galleries are displaying differently.
on the beta site, here’s a post that makes the square galleries full-width/side-by-side, which is the way we want them:

and on the live site, those same two posts are stacking the images rather than putting them side by side:

do you have any suggestions as to how i can get them to look the way they do on the beta site (https://www.jamieboepple.com/marythewanderer) ?
