    Hi

Since the latest update to Square, my client’s customers as well as myself have been issues getting the iFrame payment form to load on to the website. This is an issue unique to Chrome or Chromium-based browsers such as Edge. This is NOT an issue on Firefox or Safari.

When the page first loads, it seems that the main-iframe.html connection that is initiated in the square.js file times out. I had to refresh it couple of times to get the connection to work and load the payment form.

I’ve deactivated various plugins, including turning off the secondary payment option on the website, but to no avail. It keeps happening.

I would like some guidance and direction on this because I’ve tried just about everything I could think of.

    Hi @chrisbibbs,

I understand you’re having issues with your payment form on Chromium based browsers. I just went in to your website and added a product to the cart to test this, however I didn’t had any issues with it, the page loaded the payment form right away without delay or need to refresh: https://prnt.sc/OL_AzyEqUziM.

I just tested on Google Chrome Versión 123.0.6312.60 (Build oficial) (64?bits) on Windows 11. Can you confirm the issue persists on your end? Are you able to test on other devices, perhaps? Or using another network?

    Thanks!

    Unfortunately, the issue has persisted.

Whenever I refresh, it goes away and the main-iframe.html shows up as an error in the console. Occasionally it is an error in square.js not loading: https://prnt.sc/h1chMDTKyq3E

Also a secondary issue has arisen (let me know if I need to make a separate thread): clients keep complaining about processing errors — simply being unable to check out with their cards. Some transactions go through, but then there’s other cards that are simply rejected by Square for no reason (i.e. generic declines, an error occurred please try an alternative form of payment). I have no idea what’s going on here and this all erupted after I updated to the latest versions of WooCommerce, Square Payments, and WordPress.

    ?? hey @chrisbibbs

For the original issue here, it’d be worth checking browser console errors, while making sure no other software is interfering (either installed within the browser, or the device’s operating system).

Let’s see what the logs report, on the processing errors. The option can be seen towards the bottom of the screenshot found in the document, linked here.

I hope this is helpful!?We look forward to your response. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

We have the same issues, we got an emails from our customers and they using Chrome as well. We see the same problem on mouseflow sessions. It started from update to 4.6.0, and still the same problem on 4.6.1.
