When you are redirected back to your site, do you see any errors, and what screen do you land on?
If you’re not seeing any errors, do you see any errors in your fatal error log and/or do you see any Square errors when you go to your logs list? You can find those by going to WooCommerce → Status → Logs tab and then looking for the dropdown in the right corner. Please look for a time frame around when you tried to connect to Square.
If you don’t see any errors there, next I would suggest deactivating any caching or security plugins that you have on your site and/or that your host is running (specifically look for any drop-in or must-use plugins on your plugins page) and disable those while trying to connect (in many cases, you can enable those again once you are up and running).

- System Status Report: You can find this under WooCommerce → Status. Click on
Get system report
and then Copy for support.
- Fatal Error Log (if any): via WooCommerce → Status → Logs
- Screenshot: A clear screenshot of what you see after the redirect. You can use Snipboard.io to easily share a screenshot.
