Square products and syncing with woocommerce

    So I finally have everything synced between Square and woocommerce, however, I need product descriptions from square to NOT sync with woo. This is for a CBD store, and I want to have links to the lab reports for the products. Square does not allow me to have hyperlinks in their product descriptions. When I try to add them through woo, it works until the next time square and woo sync up and everything I added gets removed, because it’s not part of the product description in square where it pulls all of it’s data from.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @dmagnusj ,

    Out of the box, with WooCommerce Square ( https://woocommerce.com/products/square/ ), there isn’t a way to selectively prevent the product descriptions from not syncing.

    I recommend adding the link through custom fields. You can check on Google for Extra Product Options for WooCommerce and you will be able to find multiple plugins that allow adding extra data to products.
