    I have the plugin set up to sync from Square to Woocommerce automatically every 1 hour.

    I ran a manual sync on May 6, with several “Alerts” letting me know products couldn’t be imported due to them being variable pricing products on Square. I understand why we’re getting THOSE alerts (the products are missing pricing). However, the last alert received said “Sync failed”.

    I turned on error logs after I noticed that a few days later and tried running the manual sync again. This time, I don’t see the sync ever completing or even seeing new alerts. I’m only seeing alerts from my May 6 attempt.

    Square has about 2,000 products and only 1,000 of those products (roughly 50%) transferred. What could be causing this issue? I’m happy to provide more information if needed,

    The sync process may be timing out due to the large number of products you’re trying to import from Square. To troubleshoot, I would suggest the following steps:

    1. Increase the PHP memory limit and the maximum execution time in your server settings. This could potentially solve the issue if it’s caused by a timeout.
    2. Deactivate other plugins temporarily to check if there’s a conflict causing the sync to fail.
    3. Check the product data in Square to ensure there are no inconsistencies or missing information that could be causing the sync to fail.

    If you’re still experiencing issues after trying these steps, please share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: Navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get System Report and then Download for Support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

    I reviewed the SSR of your site and noticed that the WP Memory Limit is set to 96 MB.
    This amount of memory is too low for WooCommerce to work properly.

    I recommend increasing the WP Memory Limit to 512 MB.
    You may need to contact your host and ask them to increase the WP Memory Limit.

    Thank you for the suggestion. However, the Sync is still behaving the same way (not starting) even after I made the Memory Limit 512. Could it be the PHP Time limit is 60?

    Yes, you should increase PHP time limit to 1200 and PHP post max size to 2 GB, then disconnect and reconnect your Square account again.

    I tried the suggestion and adjusted the time etc. I tried to sync again and It’s been several hours now and it at least says “Updated: 100” now. Where it normally would say “0”, but the “Synced products” number hasn’t gone up. It’s also making the page jump every now and then, so it feels like it might be working now? Can’t confirm yet.
