    Hello,

    Square plugin has been in use for over 12 months with no issue

    Seemingly since 2.9.0 however, client has noticed card payments are unable to process. The user is simply presented with a “blank” red error woocom message.

    Debugging records the following critical error:
    CRITICAL Uncaught Error: Cannot access protected property Automattic\WooCommerce\Admin\Overrides\Order::$customer_id

    Can anyone else confirm if they have the same issue and/or if a fix is available?

  • YES, my client has the exact same issue and I can’t find a solution anywhere either, I don’t understand though because it was fine after that last big Square update, then it just started with this issue you described yesterday. Hoping we can find a solution somewhere!

    I am dealing with the same issue… client just notified me after hitting Pay Now Button, it doesnt do anything.

    I tried it on my end and on my phone it says “Internal Server Error” but on the desktop it doesnt show any error message.

    I really hope this gets fixed asap as it is crucial to get payments right now and avoid dealing with angry clients and then re-ask for payments again.

    Hope a solution comes through. If I do figure it out I will post it here.

    My site is facing the same issue since this morning. Blank red error when customers tried to check out. Please help.

    Hey there!

    We’ve been taking a look at this on our end and it may be a known bug with the latest version of the WooCommerce Admin plugin – if you have the standalone WooCommerce Admin plugin, try deactivating it to see if that clears up the issue.

    @fevered deactivating Woocommmerce Admin did indeed provide a temporary fix.

    Deactivating the WordPress Admin may be a temporary fix but thats not a solution. Hope a better fix comes through.

    I have switched to Stripe for now…

    The fix is found.
    Update WooCommerce Admin to Version 3.2.1

    Flush the Cache and test it.

    Works for me.

    @fitims Woocommerce Admin version 3.2.1 was the version I have that was causing the issue.

    I can confirm the temporary fix of DEACTIVATING Woocommerce Admin plugin has worked for me too! Thank you! Please get a permanent fix ASAP though!

    I can also confirm that updating the Woocommerce Admin plugin to 3.2.1 worked for me also to fix this issue! ??

    @uxuidesign try re-installing the woo-commerce admin and check again.

    Just to be clear WooCommerce Admin is included in the WooCommerce core now. The standalone plugin is still used for development but it’s not typically necessary anymore. Removing it shouldn’t cause a loss of features for your business.
