Square -> WC sync product name issue

    Hi!

    I’m getting a strange issue with a variable product in a client’s site when I do a Square -> WC sync. Most of the products sync fine but one of them gets renamed. The product name is “Collectif Black/Gold Wiggle Dress” and it gets renamed to “Variation #343 of Collectif Black/Gold Wiggle Dress”.

    The slug and all the variations are correct. It’s just the product name that gets changed. Any idea why this is happening?

    Hi!

    That issue shouldn’t affect this product. It’s a single-level variation that has only ever been synced from Square to WC.

    Do you have debugging enabled for the Square Sync? If so, can you see what is showing in the log for this product, please?

    Also, if you have a WooCommerce.com account, make sure you’ve “purchased” the Square extension then head to https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/ and we can take a look via ticket or Live Chat if someone is available.

    I’m unable to see which product is which in the log as they all have an alphanumeric string for an ID which doesn’t appear to match anything in the product listing.

    I’ve opened a ticket. Thanks for your help!
