squares besides avatars on Firfox & IE

Hi all,

When “view likes”, click-able squares appear next to the users’ avatars (a square for each avatar that also takes to the user’s profile).
This occurs on Firefox & IE, how could this be fixed? I tried modifying the css but in vain!

Did anybody has this issue before? Any suggestion would be appreciated.
