• Hello,
I am a complete newbie but delighted to have been able to build a basic site using wp theme twenty ten and Safari 4.0.4 browser where it looks fine.

However, when viewed with IE6, 2 problems:

1 when pages first load all the photos in the page (but not the featured image at the top) are squashed. If I go to another page then click back to the first page, images are correct size. Similarly, if I click on one of the squashed images to see large size it appears fine in large size and when I click back the page displays correctly.
2 The site currently has 6 pages. Home page and two other head pages. The titles for all these display correctly in IE6, but in IE6 the sub pages on drop downs do not appear. So it looks as if there are only 3 pages, All other links within the pages work fine.

I am sure it something simple but as I have only a sketchy idea of html would be grateful if you could respond in very basic terms.

    Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • IE 6 has major problems rendering new technologies. Do you have to use such an outdated browser? (This is IE 6 we’re talking about – there’s been an IE 7, 8, and 9 since then.)

Thank you for replying. I have now found https://browsershots.org and will test on friend’s machines and come back with more exact questions.
