Squirrel Mail – Too Many Recipients

  • I have a little over 100 subscribers, and I’m trying to send an email using the Subscribe 2 plugin. Each attempt gets this error:

    Check your settings and check with your hosting providerCould not instantiate mail function.

    And then when I check my email, the attempt to send the email apparently has bounced back, and I receive this message:

    A message that you sent was rejected by the local scanning code that
    checks incoming messages on this system. The following error was given:

    Sorry, messages can contain no greater than 50 recipients.

    Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    It’s simple. Your server won’t allow you to send emails to over 50 recipients. As you stated, you have over 100.

    You should use mailchimp for subscriber emails.
