squished photos using justified Google photos

Hi,

I’m sure this is something simple I’ve just done wrong.

When I set Google photos to show pictures from an album in justified format the images are resized to fit a square box, meaning most look squashed. Once I hit the load more button the gallery suddenly becomes justified and looks normal.

I’ve tried turning off autooptimize and cloudflare in case it’s a caching issue but that doesn’t help.

Any ideas greatly appreciated, maybe it’s something to do with custom css I added to the site, but I don’t think I’ve done anything relating to photonic.
