SS_WC_MailChimp_Handler::subscribe(): WooCommerce MailChimp subscription failed

  • Hi there,

    We received an email from the system with the following message:

    SS_WC_MailChimp_Handler::subscribe(): WooCommerce MailChimp subscription failed: (email address) is in a compliance state due to unsubscribe, bounce, or compliance review and cannot be subscribed. (ss-wc-mc-api-request-error)

    Just wondering why received an email with that message and how we can fix it to insure it does not happen again…

    @goldenagemedia,

    This indicates that the email address had unsubscribed, bounced or was flagged by MailChimp for compliance review. You would need to contact MailChimp support for more information as to why.
