We continue to battle the SSL issue for the plugin when applying the API key. The WP error kicked back is:

Error while connecting: SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired (#60)

Thus far, uninstalling and reinstalling does not resolve the issue. Is this server-side? User side is OS 11.6, Firefox 92.0.1.

  • Yes, we keep getting this error to. Uninstall and install does not fix it.

We had to buy a SSL for our domain. Stupid. We aren’t processing any shopping carts, medical information, financial information, nothing private or personal. So why WP plugins force the use of SSL for non-sensitive content is shortsighted. It’s vastly overkill for public websites with no privacy needs.

    Hi all,

The issue should be resolved right now. Could you please retry?

The cause is partly server and client side, a small portion of the users may have experienced TLS issues when connecting to our services because the DST Root expired a couple of days back. We updated our trust stores to only use a working root. However on some machines and PHP versions this is still causing issues. We have now made a tweak on our servers to work with older libraries as well.

    It works, thanks
