• Hi,

We are setting up the Single Sign On for windows for our WordPress site and I am at the stage where I need to set up the ADFS and enter the SSL certificate.

However, in the instructions for the plugin on the wordpress site it says the certificate is optional but available in the standard, premium or enterprise version of the plugin.

Can you confirm if the certificate is optional to setup the ADFS as I don’t seem to be able to go any further with that part of the setup without entering an SSL or would we have to buy one of the versions of the plugin?

    Thanks
    Kalinda

An SSL certificate for signing request and response is optional. However, you would need to have your website run on HTTPS and hence, you would require an SSL certificate for that. It is different from the signing certificate.

Are you stuck at adding the relying party in AD FS?

    Hi,

Thanks for the update so we would need to take up one of the plans to get an SSL certificate for the website?

I’ve got to the point on the link below where I’ve launched the ADFS configuration wizard and got to the part ” Select the SSL Certificate that you downloaded from miniOrange Admin Console Policy Page and provide the Federation Service Display Name”

    Thanks

    Hi,

This website is running internally only at the moment so the client wouldn’t necessarily need an SSL for this unless they wanted to make this an external site.

Can you explain how we would get round this for an internal site but they want people to be able to authenticate on the AD to log on to the intranet.

    Thanks
    Kalinda
