SSL certificate problem

  • I updated WordPress on all my sites but on one I can no longer update anything.

    One messages says: An error occurred while updating Anti-Spam by CleanTalk: Download failed. SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed

    another typical message is: Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.ads-software.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /web/sites/user/3/48/115471/public/www/wp-includes/update.php on line 123

    My host says there is no SSL certificate on the server.

    That same plug-in has updated on my other sites on other hosts.
