    Hi,
Can you please tell what the cause of following error can be?

Our https website has no problems, but on my http localhost(wamp) the following error is persistent in all releases with “beta” in the name:
“Communicating with Mollie failed: cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate (see https://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html). Field: GuzzleHttp\Exception\RequestException: cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate (see https://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html)”
All settings/extensions in Wamp are correct.

Reinstalled your plugin version 3.0.6 and the error is not there.

    Thanks,
    With regards,
    DV

Your server is using an old cacert.pem, ask your hoster to update it.

In 3.x we used our own cacert.pem for when this happened, we are probably going to re-add it, it seems there are still enough hosters with old versions around.

Aha, well.. the problem is on my own localhost at home, but I understand your reply which certainly clears the matter.
I noticed that in the standard wamp php.ini file, the path to cacert.pem is not addressed as such but possible to address. I will go for that.

    Many thanks for this.

All issues with Guzzle or certificates should be fixed in Mollie Payments for WooCommerce 4.0.1 which will be available as an update in the WordPress dashboard starting August 6th.
