This isn’t something that Smush could do, as the actual smush process is the following:
– smush sends image thumbnails one by one to our smushing server
– image gets compressed
– image is sending back to your server, overriding initial image file
Did you make any other recent change apart from installing and smushing your images?

can help you overpass any mixed-content errors.
