• I have iThemes security on a website of mine and when i clone it to a new domain (using WP Clone) i cannot access the front end of the website anymore, i keep getting Too many redirects errors, the backend works fine.

The only way to fix this is to either disable iThemes or just the SSL module. Both sites use HTTPS.

This is not a recent issue, it’s been around from last year at least, WP and all my plugins were up to date at the time of cloning.

The site in question is https://peakserviceandsale.com/.

This might not be because of iThemes, but i thought i should mention it anyway.

Maybe disabling the SSL module before cloning might help, hopefully i’ll remember to try that next time.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

Thank you for calling attention to this. In the future, can you try using the Settings Import and Export module to see if that helps the transition?

    Thanks,

    Matt

@beardedginger Forgot to mention that the Settings Import and Export module is an iTSec PRO only module. So you won’t find it in the free iTSec plugin that you are currently using.

To prevent any confusion, I’m not iThemes.
