SSL Setup

  • Hi
    I am having issues setting up SSL to work on my Woocommerce shop, I have read various documents, forums etc and am confused with what to try next. Whether it’s a config issue or a hosting issue (if the latter what to ask them)
    I have Godaddy Hosting. with an SSL Cert
    When i turn Force secure checkout and Force HTTP when leaving the checkout. When i try to go to checkout it loops back to basket, in HTTP
    If i turn off Force HTTP when leaving the checkout it goes to checkout but empties the basket, but has moved to HTTPS and stays on for every page.
    If i turn both off it works fine but obviously not HTTPS.
    Please could you give me some help its stopping me launching my site.

    I’d recommend you turn off force-ssl, run the entire site (change home and site url) in SSL instead.
