SSL Support

  • Will you be updating the shortlinks to reflect HTTPS URLs now that Bitly is supporting TLS for its branded URLs?

  • Hi, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I’ll take a look at the current API methods and if they don’t support any updates from Bitly then yes the plugin will be updated to stay current.

    Support will be minimal for the next month as I’m out of the country. I’m bookmarking this thread so that it will be at the top of my list when I return.

    How is the progress of this SSL support?

    SSL support would be great as it should slightly increase the speed of users landing on my site.
