Yes, I’ll work on that, but I’ve been really busy in the past few weeks…
I’ll see what I can do next week.

Thanks! So what exactly didn’t work when you had SSL enabled? You’re the first to report anything related to SSL, so it’d be great if you could help me figuring this out.

    Hello,

I’m using this plugin on several sites, but today as well ran into this SSL problem. I get a 404 page, saying this:

    “Not Found

The requested URL /newlogin/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

If you try to access it with http, does it redirect to https? Or does it just give you a 404 right away?

No, both http and https give the same 404, and http doesn’t seem to redirect to https first

    Okay, thanks.

I had the exact same issue with the 404 pages. Thank you for helping resolve the issue and look forward to it working with SSL! ??

It seemed the problem was not with this plugin. For some reason (I had) my .htaccess file (was) corrupted, and the needed lines for WP were missing from it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So for my part this issue is definitely resolved.

So is SSL working for you with this plugin? Today or tomorrow I’ll update this plugin. I think that now, even with SSL enabled, the wrong links are show to the login page.

After the update the right url scheme should be set, but that probably won’t solve any 404s when trying to access the page over https.

Because of the corruption of the .htaccess file WP couldn’t show “beautiful” permalinks, that’s what caused the problem. I haven’t had any 404s since.

Okay, just to confirm, can you access your login page over https using this plugin?
I’ll post an update here when I updated the plugin. Could you test it again then? Thanks!

    Yes I can.
