This is a re-opening/continuation of the thread at (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/ssl1-error-400/) as no one seems to be responding with a logical method to fix the issue or there are no fixes with all these updates on the plugin. (there are a lot of examples in that thread if you need to reproduce the issue.)

I have been using Jetpack for over 4 years now. Also faced the “Images not displaying” issues once in a while (somehow ignored it because it was 1 or 2 images which is not the case now). Recently found out that the &ss=1 at the end of the image URLs are causing the issue. The images are definitely cached on the Jetpack Photon servers that is why it is getting displayed after removing the &ssl=1 at the end.

Jetpack is a great plugin and I know that Jetpack Photon is not a regular CDN service. You are also providing that for FREE which we all always glad about. But all the time you spend on developing such an amazing feature that follows the latest standards such as the WebP image, compression, resizing, etc. is ruined by a bug.

The solution you provided on almost every thread which is “re-uploading the images with a different file name” is not actually a practical solution for every webmaster (it takes a hell lot of time and is not very favorable for SEO replacing a ranking image). So, can anyone in your team have a look at this issue? Such a simple bug would definitely force a lot of people to go away from Photon or Jetpack completely. I am pretty sure that a lot of people experiencing this issue (some of them don’t notice as it only happens to a few images)… So, can you please look into this?

I’ve visited the link you have provided. It is saying that the support is only open for PAID customers which I am not at the moment.

What is your site URL? I didn’t see it mentioned in the other thread. Also, This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.
If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
