SSLZEN experience from a non-expert

  • Hi all,
    I would like to share my experience with SSLZEN. Since I wanted to offer to the users of my site the added security of https, I decided to go for the SSLZEN plugin since the ssl certificate has to be renewed every 3 months and I did not want to bother with that.
    So the SSLZEN plugin creates for you and installs the certificate on the SSLZEN servers and you have to adapt your DNS zone as to point your domain to that SSLZEN server so that it can pickup the SSL certificate for your domain.
    All of this is rather straightforward but I was still not able to complete the process myself and needed help of support. I contacted support by email and indeed, some hours later I found myself in a zoom conference call with a friendly support engineer helping me in the process.
    In fact, I was not expecting that kind of nearby support so thanks SSLZEN for providing that. You have won a long term customer of your solution since it all works now.
